Type and Image

Type Basics.

The use of “Handglovery” in a typography sense is to show off all the anatomy of a typeface. It is frequently used when creating a typeface as well for the same reason. In english literature the use of “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” is a way to display every single letter of the alphabet. I drew out Handglovery onto InDesign and used my knowledge of type to label as much as I knew. After I had named as much as I could I referred to google to fill in the gaps. I look forward to using this for the types that I will design in the future.
