These are some questions you should be using as a framework to research: 

  1. Who are they?
  2. A Brief biography.
  3. Examples of work. ( Be critical with what you pick )
  4. Why are they important?
  5. Who did they influence?
  6. Who are they influenced by?
  7. How did they change design?
  8. How did they generate ideas?
  9. What is their style?
  10. What is the approach?


  1. Use the library and talk to the librarians.
  2. Wikipedia lies!
  3. Be a detective, look for clues.
  4. You know more than you think you do.
  5. Talk to people, don’t be afraid.
  6. Your opinion is valid, if it is informed.
  7. Put personal taste aside. Avoid “I love this” or “I hate this”.
